  1. NOTES ABOUT NDWTIME.EXE VERSION 2.0
  2. ===================================

  4. NDWTIME.EXE is the Norton Desktop for Windows Time and Date Program.  It
  5. places the time and date on the title bar of the Norton Desktop for Windows.
  6.  
  7. The program can be used in place of the NDWTIME.WBT file which was included
  8. with the Norton Desktop for Windows version 1.0 as a sample Batch Builder
  9. file.  The executable version is more configurable and does not require 
  10. Batch Runner to be active reducing system overhead.

  12. NDWTIME.EXE will only run under the Norton Desktop for Windows.
  13.  
  14. NDWTIME can be placed in the AutoStart group so that it will be launched
  15. whenever windows is started.

  19. INSTALLING NDWTIME.EXE

  22. To install, copy the files NDWTIME.EXE and NDWTIME.HLP to your Norton Desktop
  23. directory.

  27. CREATING AN ICON FOR NDWTIME
  28. ============================

  30. To create an icon within a Quick Access group window:

  33. 1) Open a Norton Desktop drive window for the disk that Norton Desktop resides
  34.    on.
  35.  
  36. 2) Open the Quick Access group window that the NDWTIME icon will reside in.
  37.  
  38. 3) In the drive window, find the Norton Desktop directory and highlight
  39.    it in the directory tree.

  41. 4) On the right side of the drive window, find the file NDWTIME.EXE and drag
  42.    it into the open Quick Access group window.

  45. To create an icon on the desktop:

  48. 1) Open a Norton Desktop drive window for the disk that Norton Desktop resides
  49.    on.

  51. 2) In the open drive window, find the Norton Desktop directory and highlight
  52.    it in the directory tree.

  54. 3) On the right side of the drive window, find the file NDWTIME.EXE and drag
  55.    it out of the drive window and on to the desktop.
